We travel down the Lahn River for a bit, to Kombach. In the past, people in this area were often nearly destitute and at the mercy of the authorities. In 1822, a few farmers and laborers wanted to change that and robbed a mail coach. Volker Schlöndorff immortalized them in his film, THE SUDDEN WEALTH OF THE POOR PEOPLE OF KOMBACH.
