In 1896, the Lumière brothers shot a film in Frankfurt titled FRANCFORT-SUR-LE-MAIN, ALTER MARKTPLATZ. This film, along with many others from the early days of cinema, can be viewed in the permanent exhibition cinema at the German Film Museum. We have returned to the starting point of our journey.
