Jodorowsky's opulent Dune version, which was planned to be over 10 hours long, would have been the first film adaptation of Frank Herbert's novel Dune, published in 1965. In the documentary, Jodorowsky admits to having been quite frank with the material. Frank Herbert nevertheless gave his blessing to the project.
